There's no doubt that this year's Fourth of July is going to be one for the history books. Although many of the traditional events such as picnics and parades have been cancelled, there are still plenty of ways to catch a great fireworks show, including several virtual options.
All shows listed below are FREE and, unless otherwise noted below, begin at 9:30pm. The organizers of most shows are encouraging people to watch the fireworks displays from their home or car, and not in person at the launch site.

Addison - Kaboom Town! Fireworks show will take place at an undisclosed location and will be streamed live on the Town of Addison YouTube Channel. Â
Allen - Spirit in the Sky Fireworks Tribute to the Allen Community launched from the Allen Event Center. Music will be simulcast by 97.5 KLAK.
Arlington - Independence Day Fireworks launched near Globe Life Field. Nearby parking lots open at Six Flags, Hurricane Harbor, Globe Life Park and Cowboys Stadium.
Prosper - Pride in the Sky at Frontier Park. Watch the fireworks show from your car or home. It will also be streamed live on Prosper's Facebook page.
Southlake - Fireworks show launched from Bicentennial Park BUT note that the park will be closed all day Friday, July 3 and will not be open to the public for fireworks viewers.

Addison - Kaboom Town! Pre-recorded fireworks show will be replayed on CW33 on July 4 at 10pm.Â
Anna - 4th of July Celebration at from Anna Coyote Football Stadium.
Dallas - Klyde Warren Park's Fireworks Salute to Healthcare Heroes. Tune in to CBS 11 at 10:30 PM for a pre-recorded television special.
Fort Worth - Fort Worth's Fourth at Panther Island Pavilion. Fireworks show begins at 9:20pm BUT note that Panther Island Pavilion will be closed to vehicular and pedestrian access.
Fort Worth Symphony Orchestra is holding a virtual concert, taking place at Dickies Arena and broadcasted by WFAA on July 4 at 9 p.m. The performance will also be available on the FWSO website after the live stream.Â
Frisco - Frisco Freedom Fest fireworks show at Toyota Stadium. Four FC Dallas parking lots will be available to the public for viewing.
Granbury - 46th Annual Old-Fashioned 4th of July Celebration. The fireworks show will take place at 9:45 p.m. at Historic Granbury Square and will be visible around town.Â
Grapevine - 38th Annual July 4th Fireworks Extravaganza over Lake Grapevine. There are several viewing areas around the lake, but most require paid parking.
Irving - Independence Day Celebration Virtual Watch Party at 8:30pm. Tune in for a look back at Irving's best July 4th celebrations, including nostalgic footage of parades, fireworks, and music.
Little Elm - July Jubilee offers two fireworks shows: one at Little Elm Park and one near Little Elm High School.
McKinney - Red, White, and Boom! Drive-thru parade from 9am-11am, and fireworks show at McKinney Soccer Complex at Craig Ranch BUT note that no parking or pedestrian traffic will be allowed at the Craig Ranch Soccer Complex.
Plano - All American 4th. Fireworks will launch from Lavon Farms near the Plano Event Center.
Rockwall - 4th of July Fireworks at Harry Myers Park.
The Colony - Fireworks show at Five Star Complex, and patriotic music will be available by tuning your radio to 99.9FM.
Trophy Club - Fourth of July Fireworks Show launched from Independence Park.
